Let me introduce myself…

I’m a forty-something career professional and mum of boys.

Born in the UK in the early 80’s, I’m a Xennial who witnessed the birth of the digital age, got swept up in it and made a career out if it, but have also became a slave to it.

Why bekxbydesign?

I’ve always tried to fit in and mask the real me. The truth is I’m a bit weird, stubborn and very passionate. I see situations differently, trust too easily and struggle with socials interactions such as small talk or social gatherings.

But this how was I designed and as I get older, I’m more getting more confident about showing all the sides of me. The good, the bad and the weird!

Why start a blog?

My head is full of squirrels all talking at once (and I’ll be mentioning them a lot!). By writing some of thoughts down and getting them out of my head, I hoping it helps bring some clarity and calm to my chaos.
